Procedures for Princeton International Forest Kindergarten

Application

- Completed Application Form (Appendix I)
- Completed Health Form (Appendix II)
- Copy of the child’s Birth Certificate
- Copy of a stable financial proof submitted by a bank or company
- 3 one-inch white background photos of the child
- Copies of the child’s school reports/transcripts for the past two years (except Toddler and Preschool applicants)
- Application fee of RMB ¥888 (non-refundable).
– Methods of payment:
a. Cash (RMB currency only)
b. Bank remittance (please refer to “Fees—Methods of Payment”)
*Please indicate the passport name of your child - Physical Examination Record for the child’s entrance
(Physical Examination Record must be within the 12 months validity period to be 30 accepted.) - Child’s immunization inspection certificate
(For children who receive vaccination in Shenzhen, please visit http://www.szepi.net/chaxun through IE browser to print out the immunization inspection certificate. For children who do not receive vaccination in Shenzhen, please request the immunization inspection certificate from a community health service center or a vaccination center in Shenzhen.) - COPIES of documents:

Parents/Guardians | – Personal information page of passport – Valid China visa page of passport/ Residence Permit – *Proof of residence in Shenzhen (i.e. rental agreement or certificate of real estate ownership) – *Alien Employment Permit – *Business license and employment certification letter from employer The employment certification letter should be printed on company letterhead, signed by the head of the department, stamped with the company chop, and include the following contents: employee’s name, date of birth, position, period of employment, registered company name, address and telephone number.Note: *For families not living in Shenzhen yet, these documents must be submitted within 90 days after starting school. |

Interview
Upon receipt of completed application documents and application fee, the Admissions Office will contact you to arrange necessary interview. The interview is mainly divided into two parts: an interview between the child and a teacher (about 5 to 10 minutes) and an interview between parent(s) and a school representative (about 10 minutes).
Admissions Notifications
The Admissions Committee will review your application, and the decision will be sent to you by email.
Formally admitted students:
- For September-start applicants (1st semester), letters of admissions are sent starting early July.
- For February-start applicants (2nd semester), letters of admissions are sent starting early November.
- For mid-semester start applicants, letters of admissions will be sent when space is available.
Students in the waiting list:
- For applicants on the waiting list (for full academic year and all grade levels), letters of admissions will be sent when space is available.
